LTIA NATIONAL CONFERENCE INFORMATION

STEP 1 — Application & Registration

    1. Open your from email ltia to find link to update your personal account information.
    2. Complete and submit your Medical release form.
    3. Secure your place in the LTIA conference by sending your Registration payment.
    4. Sign photography waiver. LTIA uses photos of student activities on its website and social media platforms.

    STEP 2 — Establish Communication

    1. Check your email for LTIA updates. If you haven’t received messages, check your spam/junk folder.
    2. Notify LTIA if your email changes. (ltia@ltia.org). Staying connected is essential for receiving travel notices, assignments, and updates.
    3. Follow LTIA and staff on social media

    STEP 3 — Begin Fundraising Early

    1. Follow the LTIA Fundraising instructions. Contact 20 professionals to build your personal network.
    2. Begin raising support immediately Fundraising takes time — starting early ensures you meet your deadlines.

     STEP 4 — Travel Planning

    1. Review Travel Notices for Washington, D.C.
        • Click this Link to access updated notices from DC about current travel policies and restrictions.
        • Make you flight or travel arrangements as early as possible.
    2. Plan Your Travel & Lodging.
        • If you arrive early, arrange your hotel stay.
        • LTIA housing is available only during official conference dates.
    3. Request LTIA staff airport assistance. To arrange for LTIA staff to meet you at the DCA airport, send us your flight information.
    4. Prepare for Transportation in D.C.  Purchase a 7-day short Metro-Rail Pass for conference week. [Our staff will help you when you arrive in D.C.]
    5. Contact your congressman to let them know you will be in town and would like to arrange for a brief meeting and photo.

    STEP 5 — Conference Rules & Orientation

    1. Review the Information and Rules Page Carefully. Understand the expectations, dress code, and conference policies.
    2. Send Parent Information to your parents. Make sure they know what to expect.
    3. Read the Facility Information. Learn about the venue, rooms, and amenities.
    4. Review the Sample Schedule. Get familiar with the exciting, daily flow of LTIA.

    STEP 6 — Required Fun Surveys For Improving Leadership

    Before attending LTIA

    1. Complete and send the World View Entrance-Exit questionnaire. Answer these world view questions before attending the LTIA conference.
    2. Complete the Personal Leadership evaluation. Answer these questions before the LTIA conference. (Printable pdf)

    STEP 7 — Learn More About D.C. And The Biblical Worldview

    1. Read five books from the Bibliography For WorldView Studies. Choose a couple books to read from this list of reading materials.
    2. Listen to Dr. Briney’s series of Biblical worldview lessons on You Tube.
    3. Visit online info sites to learn about Washington D.C.
