LTIA Training Venue

Facilities

The Leadership Training Institute of America (LTIA) conducts its national conference in Washington, D.C.

Training classes and dormitories are located in the Steven P.J. Wood Building, 1101 N. Highland Street, Arlington, VA just minutes from the national mall in DC.

The facilities serve as the headquarters for the Leadership Institute (LI) organization, which was founded in 1979 by its president, Morton C. Blackwell.

Included in the facilities is the F.M. Kirby National Training Center where LTIA training takes place in classrooms that are integrated with an audio visual system and a fully equipped kitchen.

LTIA students are housed in separate men’s and women’s dormitories located on the premises.

Parking

There are parking garages on N Filmore and N Garfield Street; both cost $11 a day.

Metered parking is available in the surrounding area. These meters are well monitored by Arlington County and should be refilled early and often to avoid tickets. Meters operate Monday – Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm. Sunday and holidays are free.

Please note: Parking is at the owner’s risk.  LTIA and the Leadership Institute takes no responsibility for theft, damage, or ticketing associated with parking in Clarendon.
