Dr. Patrick Briney earned a Ph.D. in microbiology and has 40+ years of ministry experience. He hosted radio and TV programs, served as President of the Creation Science Society and the Arkansas Republican Assembly, also served on an advisory board to President George Bush, lectures widely, and authored books on prayer, discipleship, and end times.

Director of LTIA and Executive Director of the Schmieding Center at UAMS. Since 1985, he has faithfully served the University of Arkansas in leadership roles. Holds advanced degrees in mathematics, computer science, and workforce education, and serves locally as Fayetteville Christian School Board president, deacon, and ministry leader.

Dr. Jim Love

Assistant Director  since the founding of LTIA in 1996, Jim has faithfully served in ministry, including 25 years as Pastor of Southland Missionary Baptist Church. With advanced degrees and numerous awards for scholastic excellence, he also ministers as Police Chaplain, FEMA coordinator, and funeral officiant. Happily married 44 years, he has three daughters and nine grandchildren.

Advanced Student Director for LTIA and faithfully serves as Associate Pastor at Mission Blvd. Baptist Church in Fayetteville since 1977. He holds a Doctorate in Education, spent thirty fruitful years as principal of Fayetteville Christian School, now directs Ambassadors Bible Institute, co‑directs an addictions ministry, and mentors through weekly Bible studies.

Women’s Director with LTIA, Dean and Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing. Holds advanced degrees in nursing and executive leadership. Former dean at Simmons University and Oklahoma Baptist University. A certified executive coach, deeply committed to developing future leaders and effectively connecting worldview with leadership.

Kyndel Brecheisen, LTIA women’s counselor and medical staff member, is a highly respected Family Nurse Practitioner and the owner of Living Well, a health clinic in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She faithfully serves in her church and Christian school, providing integrative health care to help individuals achieve their highest level of wellness physically and spiritually with wisdom, compassion, and dedication.

Paul Hardin is a retired First Sergeant with 20 years in the Army National Guard and a recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal. Now serving in public school security, he brings disciplined leadership and organizational expertise to every role. As one of LTIA’s men’s mentors, Paul is passionate about developing strong leaders marked by integrity, service, and character.

Kelly Vandervort serves as one of LTIA’s women’s mentors, guiding future leaders with vision and integrity. An entrepreneur and digital strategist, she owns Vort Media in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania, providing video, photography, and analog‑to‑digital services. Kelly advances Pennsylvania’s economic growth by producing high‑quality digital content that empowers businesses and communities.

LTIA organizational counselor committed to mentoring leaders, she serves as Vice Provost for Planning at the University of Arkansas and is a seasoned strategist in financial reporting, planning, compliance, and data analytics. A former Assistant Dean for Finance, she has also served as Washington County Justice of the Peace and currently contributes as a Walton Arts Center Foundation board member.
